Monday Morning Press Release & 1st Leak "Theme Song"
With the recent Presidential election, if anything one picture was painted clear; in today's society, people are missing something. Seemingly feeling their way through the dark trying to find anything that "feels" right. Our society is constantly partaking in temporary solutions for permanent problems. Do we turn to our vices to help us deal with a reeling nation that seems to be at a crossroad?? Do we place all of these problems on one mortal individual & place the responsibility on them to clean up our own mess??
A lot of us look to Sunday as our day of re-energizing. Whether we attend church or not, that day is set aside to charge our battery, spend time with loved ones, enjoy a few football games, and/or hear some words of encouragement to help us prepare for Monday Morning. As the sun sets on the last day of the weekend, we begin to mentally prepare ourselves for the week to come. The hustle & daily grind that is our jobs (whether we work at one or are trying to find one), school, children, & everything else that takes up our Monday through Friday.
A good portion of us fail to take that time out on any other day than Sunday to invigorate ourselves mentally. What if we were to only eat once a week?? Our body requires constant nurturing through food & water. What if we only took a shower once a week?? All of the dirt & grime that attached itself to our bodies throughout the week would remain. We should adapt this same mindset for our spirit. A single day of spiritual rest & growth isn't rest or growth at all. It needs constant attention in order to function properly.
With Monday Morning, Armond tackles a lot of issues that we come face to face with during our week. From topics such as marriage & children to promiscuity, addiction & homosexuality, in addition to issues that are a little more mum, like self-worth, transparency & lack of motivation to even continue the week or our lives altogether. This CD should be used as a tool to challenge you in your own life to step up to your next level but also to be content with where you are currently. There is not a personality criteria in order to be accepted by God. He desires you to come to Him in your present state. In order to reach your destination, you must be honest with where you are.
2 Corinthians 12:7-10
To keep me from becoming conceited because of these surpassingly great revelations, there was given to me a thorn in my flesh, a messenger of Satan, to torment me. Three times I pleaded with the Lord to take it away from me. But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ's sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
The CD will be available for free download at www.armondwakeup.com as well as www.myspace.com/armondwakeup. Physical copies will be ready to ship shortly thereafter (these will also be free). To receive a physical copy, respond back to this email with a mailing address.
